CVJM Wesermarsch
When it came time to modernize its heating plant, the charitable organization CVJM-Sozialwerk Wesermarsch decided to install an ecological and highly efficient combined heat and power unit (CHP) The plant uses bmp greengas methane to heat the workshops for disabled persons in a manner that is both friendly to the climate and economical. The cogeneration plant not only produces environmentally-compatible heat, but also electricity, which is remunerated with 23 ct/kWh according to the Renewable Energy Law (EEG). In order to ensure that the EEG remuneration is paid right away, bmp greengas provides temporary biogas certificates to the customer until the biomethane deliveries begin. CVJM Wesermarsch can then prove that the biomethane it is using was injected according to the clauses of the EEG.
Mühlacker
The Mühlacker Public Utility (SWM) began planning for a biogas generating facility early on. At the same time, the utility’s own combined heat and power unit was to be run according to EEG cogeneration standards. bmp greengas collects the entire amount at the injection point and guarantees structured delivery to SWM customers, regardless of the amount produced. In addition, bmp greengas also supports independent auditing of the gas-generating facility by sending specialists and draws up all necessary documents certifying the origin of the gas.

Detmold Public Utility
The Detmold Public Utility has been producing and injecting biogas since 2009. It is important for the company to ensure a distribution channel for biomethane volumes, so that the guaranteed amount will be sold and it can then use supplementary amounts itself. bmp greengas designed a customized solution by offering a fixed quantity price plan at the virtual trading point.
Technical Works Friedrichshafen
At the end of 2007, the Friedrichshafen Technical Works (TWF) innovatively planned to get into gas products from renewable sources. Since 2008, it has been offering its customers a biogas product that complies with the Renewable Heating Law (EWärmeG). The TWF obtains biogas from bmp greengas and then make the mixed product called “TWF Naturgas” available to its customers. In addition, bmp greengas supplies the TWF with documentation certifying the biogenic origin of the gas according to law.
DENA project biogas partner
bmp greengas is a member of the biogas partner project of the German Energy Agency (dena), where it participates in the “International biogas injection” and “Use of biomethane in cogeneration” taskforces.
The dena cooperated with partners from the agricultural and energy sectors to develop the “Biogas partnership” project. The project brings together the market protagonists from the biogas injection supply chain and supports their activities in shaping the market. The dena’s role is that of a neutral moderator. It offers a platform for acquiring and processing information and disseminating it in Germany and abroad. Due to its market approach, the project is in tune with the aim of the federal government to establish the injection of biogas into the natural gas grid as an integral part of the future energy mix.

Industrial Association Biogas / Gas Injection Study Group
bmp greengas is involved in the Gas Injection Study Group of the Industrial Association Biogas. As such, it has contributed greatly to the negotiations with the BDEW (Federal Association of Energy and Water Industries) on the development of biogas guidelines. The examples from the daily work of bmp greengas were helpful in formulating the GasNZV ordnance on access to gas supply networks.
The Industrial Association Biogas comprises national operators, manufacturers and planners of biogas facilities, representatives from the scientific and academic sectors, and other interested parties.
The Association was founded in 1992. Today, it boasts almost 3,000 members and is Europe’s strongest organization in the biogas segment.
The Trade Association Biogas performs intense political work nationally and regionally to promote the use of biogas technology. It also promotes the exchange of experience and information in the biogas segment.
