bmp greengas operates a trading platform and has been providing the statutory proofs of origin since 2007. Since mid-2008, bmp greengas and TÜV SÜD have been preparing certified proof of origin for biomethane deliveries for various utilization paths for customers.
The company has implemented its own proof of origin system and gave all its customers a solid document showing proof of origin for the entire year 2008. The proof of origin system complies with the statutory requirements in all points.
This proof of origin system was developed, tested and successfully implemented in close collaboration with TÜV SÜD and other inspection organizations, and after consulting with financial auditors and power companies. TÜV SÜD is an independent certifier. It carries out annual audits of generating plants and inspects accounting systems as part of the proof of origin system. It uses the results as a basis for the certified proof of origin documents.
